How and when did you guys first form a collaborative partnership?
We met in London nearly three years ago, and ever since then we have been sharing, writing, performing and enjoying music together. It was not too long after we met that we decided to kickstart our own musical project together.
Do you write songs together or does one person write more?
We write our songs together, and whilst one might spend more time producing and another one writing lyrics for instance, we spend all of this time together bouncing ideas off each other. We think that we compliment each other quite well, since we both have different skills that make the writing process incredibly balanced and enjoyable.

How do you come up with inspiration for your sound/songs/new lyrics?
We get a lot of our inspiration from classic rock, which our parents have definitely passed on to us. But we also love all other kinds of music and listen to many genres daily. Ranging from bedroom pop to jazz, motown, disco...
We also find the aesthetic and visual aspects of our music really important, since they portray a big part of who we are as individuals. We both love fashion and the opportunity it gives us to express ourselves. So we use this together with our music to put ourselves out there, and invite anyone who is interested in these things to join the party. I would say that fashion plays a key role in sparking our curiosity for different sounds, styles and concepts.

How do you find the music scene to be different in London than in the Canary Islands?
It is extremely different. I personally grew up wanting to see more. The island is small, so there is only so much that is done in terms of music. However, we both think that there is incredible amounts of talented people in the islands and in the rest of Spain alike - so we can’t wait to work with some of these people.
In contrast, London has anything you might want and more. It was incredible for us to move to the big city from our tiny island, discover the many things that go on here music-wise, and find out that we had the opportunity to get involved in any scene we fancied.

Where is your favourite place in London to go for live music?
We love the Old Blue Last in Shoreditch, because there’s always something going on there. It’s also a great place to socialise, so it’s definitely one of our go-to places.
Who would be your dream to be a supporting act for?
We actually saw the Foo Fighters live at Reading once and we thought that their live show was absolutely incredible! It would definitely be an honour to be their support act. Nirvana is one of our favourite bands of all time, so Foo Fighters is the closest we’ll ever get, but not complaining!
Where would you most love to play?
We really want to play the main stage at Reading & Leeds. It was one of the first festivals we both went to, so it would be quite special. We also think that Glastonbury has one of the best stages, it’s huge and there’s a unique energy to it. Both of those are definitely on our bucket list!
