Maya is a British and Caribbean model, contemporary artist and dancer. They create experimental performance through queer, decriminalised, research-led methodologies within the collaborative duo Fimbo Butures. Their solo practice explores self expression through aesthetics, text and movement, described as a process of self-styling and shape-shifting that carries on in the qtibpoc+ methodologies of world building. Mays is based in London, but moves frequently between France and Germany.
